<h1>Movement Notation</h1>
In tekken, movement inputs are abbreviated for convenience.
The direction your character is facing normally is forward, abbreviated as 'f' and the direction your back is facing is back, abbreviated as 'b'.
So, if your character is on the left side, 'f' will be right, and 'b' will be left.
Down and Up are abbreviated to 'd' and 'u' respectively.
You can combine inputs to cover diagnonals, for example, 'df' meaning down forwards or 'ub' for up back.

<h1>Movement</h1>
To move, simply press forward to move towards your opponent and back to move backwards.
If you double tap back, your character will perform a back dash, creating distance faster than if you simply hold back.
The same applies to pressing forward, double tap forward to dash towards the opponent.
After a dash towards your opponent, you may hold the second forward input to run, keep in mind that you cannot run backwards.
If you hold up, your character will jump, you can do this in 3 directions for different jump arcs with 'ub', 'u' and 'uf'.
Holding down will cause you to go into crouch, holding 'df' will make you crouch walk forwards, note that you cannot crouch walk backwards.
Tapping without holding either 'u' or 'd' will cause you to perform a sidestep, and double tapping and holding either will cause you to sidewalk.
Keep in mind that sidewalking was only introduced in Tekken 4.
